Currently, the community of Srithanu has an indisputable natural beauty, where it is possible to appreciate beaches, abundant tropical vegetation, small food establishments and settlements. Furthermore, the villagers live in a non-invasive manner with the environment, using local materials for the construction of their dwellings and other establishments. Also, their main economic source comes from fishing and agriculture of their lands as well as local crafts and art. As a result, it is essential for the villagers to sell their products to tourists or people who come temporarily to visit the area. The master plan intends to provide for this community establishments which adapts to the current lifestyle of the inhabitants. Also, it is intended to favor the existing natural beauty and try to minimise the construction impact. As a result, the approach for this project is to create an innovative and contemporary vernacular experience that strengthens the sense of belonging and create a positive impact in this community development.  
In overall, the master plan intends to provide to the user a deeper connection with the natural surroundings. Also, it is intended to create modern vernacular experiences that reach architectural expectations not only for the current community but also for tourists and temporary visitors.
